Preforms inspection system LRIS

All preforms in which defects are detected are discarded in a special container.

The entire process is controlled by PLC and multifunctional display, through which inspection parameters are set for each type of preform.

The preform neck format change is quick and repeatable with maximum safety; the maximum time for a format change is 20 minutes with an operator.

The LRIS inspector can be inserted directly in line at the outfeed of the preform extruders, or at the infeed of the bottle blow moulding machines.

The number of cameras can vary from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 7 depending on the type and number of defects to be detected.
