Lanfranchi Mettipuck is a solution that allows processing unstable containers and therefore difficult to transport with conventional transport systems.
The correct height adjustment of the puck insert is automatic. The correct height is automatically reached by a motor controlled by encoder.
The container is held by a clamp controlled by brushless motor to allow the necessary rotation.
The insertion into the puck is made by a cam system.
Pucks are introduced into the puck feeder through a system which releases the pucks only if a container is present.
If it is not possible to insert the container inside the puck (because of lack of container at the unscrambler outfeed) the empty pucks will be recirculated in a closed loop conveyor and automatically re-handled by the machine. In this way all the pucks in the downstream line will carry the container inside.
