FAST Storage Silo (Fast Assembly Silo Technology)
This new product incorporates the three hystoric features of the company: 1- the experienced working system of a Lanfranchi silo, the structure in modules, the quick and simple assembly process, which yields a drastic reduction in the time of installation.
FAST has been created to be used as buffer for water and soft drink lines, but it can also be used for major storage; wherever its use you can rely on its success!
ULTRACLEAN STORAGE SILO
If the need is that of a buffer in order to ensure an uninterrupted production cycle of the blow-molder, and if you want to be sure that the bacterial count of the bottles will not increase while the bottles are inside the silo.... ULTRACLEAN is what you need. This kind of silo is completely built in stainless steel AISI 304. Its main design feature is that the absence of any point of dust or liquid retention. This silo has an inbuilt CIP system and is guaranteed to class Class 100.
Storage silo with temperature control (specific for milk applications)
This kind of silo was created with the specific aim to satisfy the storage requests of the dairy industry where UHT milk bottles are made in HDPE and emerge from the extrusion machine completely closed. The main problem in handling these kind of containers is to control the internal temperature of the environment in order to avoid implosion or the explosion of the same. In order to resolve this problem, Lanfranchi has developed a silos system with separate air flows at different temperatures according to where the bottles are in the silo. A further guarantee of temperature control is given by the use of insulated sandwich panels to built the roof, the side walls and the silo hopper.
Box storage system
This solution is mainly chosen when you have to store different bottle sizes with different colors or labels. Thanks to this box system you can easily store “just in time” the quantities of containers required in a flexible and precise way.
The containers are now available in different dimensions and capacity up to a maximum of 10 m3, and can be stacked and transported by truck.
Loading phase An optimum filling, based on the size of the silo and shape of the bottle (type and size), is achieved by opting for the most suitable type of loading system, central or side, with distributing trolley or blowers.
The control logic then determines the loading procedure on the basis of the shape that is being used and the number of sensors present.
Internal section Lined totally in stainless steel, the interior is designed for the dual purpose of reducing to a minimum the number of possible stagnation areas where dirt can become trapped and avoiding bottles from being scuffed. A class 100 washable stainless steel model is also available. Numerous steps reduce the pressure on the containers/bottles in storage.
Unloading phase A number of belts at the base of the hopper travel centrally through the silo along its entire length. The unloading, controlled by a number of sensors, is achieved extremely delicately, and in total accordance with the “gentle handling” philosophy that is the basis for all of Lanfranchi’s products.
