The company was established in 1980 by Lino Lanfranchi and started as a supplier of machines for the agroindustrial sector.
In 1989 Lanfranchi began to design and manufacture his own machines to unscramble plastic containers; during the years, the range of products was increased to include other systems actually on the market for empty bottle handling, such as: storage silos, bulk conveyors, air conveyors, table-top conveyors (traditional and vacuum), palletizers, depalletizers, orientators. All these products are really at the forefront from a technological point of view.
Collecchio (Parma – Italy) is the centre of the main activities. In 2000 two branch-offices were established, one in France (Lanfranchi Nord Europe) and another one in the United States (Lanfranchi North America) in order to increase sales and improve the after-sales service.
In 2005 Lanfranchi started the production and marketing of a new range of products for preform handling: unscramblers, inspection-machines, box loaders, automatic systems to feed blowing-machines, conveyors and palletizers.
This is a further confirmation that Research & Development is one of the milestones of our activity and this can also be demonstrated by the number of patents (almost 35) registered by Lanfranchi all over the world! Our mission? To be the technological leader for the supply of complete systems to handle empty plastic bottles and preforms.

Then at the beginning of 2009, we have established 2 new branch-offices in Europe: in England and Spain. Lanfranchi UK and Lanfranchi Espana are sales branch-offices that will also grant an efficient after-sales service and the supply of spare parts to our customers.
